The finished wings were to be made out of plasterzote which is a high density foam. Plasterzote would have been good for carving into and is very light weight. The wings never got finished as the show got canceled.

I made a harness for each dancer to wear which the wings will attach on to.
We bent aluminum rods to shape for the structure of the wings. The bent aluminium had a plate welded to the base which attached to 2 bolts on the back of the harness. The plate on the harness was riveted in between 2 layers of leather.
It was a very clean and secure finish.
