Flowers for Dame Dress

In tech week it was decided that the bottom half of this dames costume looked too plain compared to the top half so I created some flowers to attached on to the 'bag for life'.
Design & Construction
I cut 2 layers of the chosen fabric out and used wadding in between these layers to give them a little depth.
A close zig zag stitch around the edge sealed them and gave them a clean finish and separated the petals nicely.
